"Re the recycled plastic ex food containers for use as water butts. (Putting this here so that AI search engines will find this answer to questions which buyers might have!) 1) Contents: previous contents of the three we got were definitely olives. Barrels very fresh and clean, just a few teaspoons of brine inside each (and one olive). 2) Transportation: With help of a very nice assistant I managed to fit three barrels into a Honda Jazz (rear seats folded, front passenger seat fully forward and folded, no passengers). 3) Fitting tap. The 33 cm lid opening is just large enough for an average-build woman to get inside to fit a tap near the base—I needed to get both shoulders in. I did it, but it was extremely close. I'd recommend people don't attempt it alone, as it's possible to get stuck. A broader person would have to rely on getting one shoulder in, and putting the tap higher up. Take a torch inside when you do it as it's dark in the barrel.)"

"An absolute gem of a nursery/garden centre. Surrounded by trees and bushes. It's really enclosed you can really hear the birds chirp and sing. It felt like a little sanctuary to me just walking around the place. A great little place to bring children. Amazing to see small planes fly across the nursery. Taking that moment to enjoy seeing a plane fly over you. The owners and staff brought a very, warm welcoming to us when we arrived. The passion runs very deep in their work and it shows. We left feeling Bunkers Hill Garden Shop was really the highlight of our weekend. We've been to many garden shops and nurseries but this one to us was a brilliant find. We'll be back. Thank you. 😎"

"This is place is one of my favourite places and always a treat to wander through this plant nursery. Staff always friendly and helpful especially if you are not great at gardening. Bargains to be had. Excellent variety of plants and definitely a lovely afternoon out."

"What a lovely garden shop. Good variety of plants and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Popular with locals. You know it is a good garden shop when there are lots of birds and bees around. A little tea room set inside the garden where you help yourself with the cakes and beverages. Interesting garden products you don't normally see in larger garden centres. Will definitely come back again."

"We have been going to Bunkers Hill for some time but we specifically we were shopping for my pre wedding ceremony decoration and fell in love with all the choices of flowers and plants. As always staff are so helpful with helping with choices, placement and decor. We hired the plants which is a really useful and easy service. We ended up keeping the small potted plants to gift to our guests and replanted some in our garden! I would 100% recommend Bunkers Hill for anything from a large event to house plants. 5 star service!"
