"CHG Improvements Ltd (Harry) recently completed some work on our house and are extremely pleased with the results. The job involved repairing and modifying our solid oak porch post, cutting away the rotten section and setting the post properly onto a staddle stone. The surrounding area was also carefully dealt with, including removing patio slabs, relaying the foundations for the post, and then making good by relaying the slabs and tidying everything up neatly. He also sanded our solid oak porch post, door frame, and front door, then treated everything with Osmo oil, giving it a lovely golden finish. The whole entrance now looks fresh, smart, and almost brand new again. Throughout the job he was clean, tidy, punctual, and did exactly what he promised. The price was very reasonable, and the standard of workmanship was excellent. We originally found his advert in our local village newspaper, and it has turned out to be a very good find. My wife and I would happily recommend him to friends and family for any general building or home improvement work."
