"I have always hated going to "the tip", but finally stopped procrastinating and decided it was time to get rid of some broken chairs and a few other items that were taking up space in the shed. Booked my slot this morning- plenty of availability even at the weekend. Very helpful staff member was clearing my items as quick as I was getting them out of my car - I didn't have to ask for help, he just checked everything was going and took it away for me. Much appreciated as being short it's not always easy lifting/throwing things into the skips! A fat more pleasant experience than my last visit a year or so ago."

"First visit since the booking system was introduced and all went very smoothly. It requires more time & effort before the visit to think about what you're going to take, but that pays off once you're at the site. No queues, easier to move around onsite. Helpful & friendly staff as ever."

"The staff were intelligent, courteous and so so helpful. The person by the metal station was particularly helpful. I couldn’t get the garden sack out of the car and he couldn’t have been more helpful. I had just cut down a tree in my dad’s garden and also had seven glass panels to get rid of. I booked and went to Redbridge three times over about two hours. Just looping round. Quite enjoyed it!"

"Up until recently, I could recycle responsibly at a moment's notice without any hassle. Now they require a lenghty online registration with a timeslot and proof of address on arrival. :( This is huge, because it's already difficult to get everyone to recycle properly. People need less friction to recycle, not more! These new measures should be removed ASAP. I am surprised that an environmentally-conscious management would do something like this, it's clearly a step in the wrong direction."

"It took a long, complicated ser of questions to actually get the "Appointment" to drop off a vacuum cleaner. However, the man on station 6, Electrical, was wonderful. He saw I was struggling with my cane and removed the unit without me having to get out of the car!! Except the best. Thanks."
